|
|
Installed TTN5 a couple of days ago and initially was having the problem of favourites and POI settings vanishing but thanks to the fantastic help on this forum I have managed to sort that (map was ticked for read only).
Feeling very brave I decided to attempt installing a new camera database using POI Edit but it wouldn't download all the camera files, then tried to do it manually which seemed to work but I can't get them to show properly. All I get is the different camera icons but not what the speed restriction is which I really want to be able to see.
Should I delete all the camera database and start again, if so which database do I download to see the speed limits or is there a way to get it sorted.
Hope the question makes sense or if you need more info to help then please ask.

The database on this site is the best there is. (I'm biased.)
For a summary of the different files that are available for TT, have a look at this.
TTN5 uses the same setup as the GO with regard to the camera files.
Remember there is a limit to how many POI categories you can add to TT. _________________ Richard

Sorry to be a pain but I seem to have misplaced the files, could you post a link for the download for ....
"These are found in the 'speed zoned/gatso/ov2 bmp', 'speed zoned/mobile/ov2 bmp' and 'speed zoned/Specs/ov2 bmp' folders. Add to these the Redlight and Temporary files as above."
Thanks again. _________________ Not that technical

You will find the camera database at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php (which is the page the 'speed camera' link on this site takes you. Click on download database, unzip it & select the files you need to copy to the SD card.
