|
|
Im new to this and have been trying to install the camera warning POI's.
I have followed the instructions posted on this forum and have downloaded and unzipped the files and transferred the .OV2 & BMP files onto my TTG.
However, I cant find them when I go into Manage POI.
Does anyone know what I have/am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Dave. |

Hi Sparkes23 and welcome to the forum,
It looks like you have picked up the correct type of files but you may have put them in the wrong place.
They must be placed in the Great Britain Map folder (the files must not be in their own folder within the GB folder).
If you have not backed up your SD card DO IT NOW before you do any more work with it so you may need to think about changing to a bigger card in the future.
The full PGPS speed camera database will fit on an original card but there isn't a lot of headroom for adding other POIs.
If you haven't aready found it have a look at this link:

Your problems are easily solved but if you have any more trouble then post again. It won't be long before you are up and running.

Thanks for your advice DeeSee - think I have made things much worse now though!!!
In the process I have managed to delete the maps. I had already made a backup but for some reason the TTG no longer recognises the SD. Does anyone know how this can be rectified?
Thanks in advance,
Dave. |

Reset the TT - Use a paperclip in the little hole under its foot.
Keep the paperclip pressed in for about 10 secs or so.
This should sort it out.
