No it doesnt.
I have the 6230 and that was the only things that didint work straight away.
Have you got your number on the SIM or on the phone? I've forgotten which way around it needs to be, but changing from one to the other can work. (The correct way round is somewhere on in this forum).
The other solution that will work every time is to create a file on your desktop called "contacts.txt" and enter your numbers thus-
"Name","Number" INCLUDE THE QUOTATION MARKS
When you have entered all of the number you want, conect your Go and drag and drop this file into the root directory of the GO and everything should work.
Its a bit of a drag if you have hundreds of numbers but at least it works.

You need the numbers on the phone. My 6230 works fine with my TomTom. _________________ Tim |

my phone is just a 6230 (not the 6230i) so if i put all the numbers onto the phone and not the sim card it should work for me

I had the numbers on the phone first of all and it didnt work so I put them on the sim card and it moved some of them over and duplicate others. I have found that the only way to be sure is to create the "Contacts.txt" file.
From other comments it would appear that diiferent things work on different phones of the same model. Strange but true!!!!!!!

Maybe it's down to the 'phone's firmware? Mine has 5.24, I think. Can't remember how to display it. _________________ Tim |

I can do eveything you guys can do on the tomtom go 700 except get my numbers from the phonebook.
I have tried editing them manual and adding my own there but for some reason it doesnt show up.
I use a nokia 6680.

If your phone is still under warranty, get the firmware updated to the latest version v5.5 for free, and you will have all the features working.
This is what I did as mines was previously running v4.44 and I didnt have the phonebook contacts integration working.
Check what version of firmware by pressing *#000# |

TopBear, where did you take your phone for the firmware upgrade. I thought you could only get it done at a Nokia centre. Anyone know any different.
Thanks in advance |
