Greetings all, I have a custom POI on Tomtom Navigator 5 on a MIO168 where the icon doesn't display properly, it's just a red square. I have checked the .bmp file on my pc and it shows ok and it used to show ok when I ran Navigon with POIWarner. Sad
I only have this one and the safety cameras enabled, all the rest are the inbuilt POIs and are disabled.
I can't see why it won't show, any ideas anyone Question

The red square is the default symbol and means the correct bitmap can't be read for some reason. It should be in the map folder, and named exactly the same as the OV2 file.

I have exactly the same problem with a .bmp for one of the French speed cameras. 22 x 22, exactly the same name, fine on the PC but will not show in TT5. I have tried all sorts to get it working.

SteveW's post got me thinking. I have resized the .bmp file to 22x22 pixels and hey presto it's cured. :P

When saving an icon for TomTom, always make sure it's a BMP file, but also make sure it's a Windows 24 bit Bitmap file.

I've found it won't work otherwise.
