Hi guys- just need a little advice-
I have recently installed tomtom 3 onto my PDA ( Jornada 525)- I was also looking to install the checkpoint programme too. The problem is I cant connect the PDA to the web so cannot sync the programme. I read somewhere that a previous version of checkpoint does not need to be synchronised, is this true? and
Where can I down load this previous programme?

You don't need to connect the PDA to the web. Just download it onto your PC (there is a version which you can download from the downloads section of this forum) and then use Active Sync to install it to your PDA. You can be off line when you are doing this

Have a look at my quick guide for CheckPOInt, the version on the page is v3, so some items may be different in v2 if you use that, as Robin said in the post above you don't need to sync with any web site unless you want download other poi's, but you can add them manually as shown on the quide so no need to sync.

Only if you want to sync on-line, as I said just download and install your own poi's, for tomtom3 just drop the .ov2 .bmp and sound files into the Great_Britain map folder on your storage card, and configure CheckPOInt as required. |
