I posted this in Beginners Lounge, perhaps it would be better hrere!:
I inadvertently let my battery go flat on my IPAQ and have had to reinstall TT3. The thing came (via ebay) with uk postcodes already installed on it but after a re-install they aren't there.
I have a back up of two files, one is 18.5 mb and the other is 41.5k. The first is a DAT file and the second says it's an application file.
Can I stick these into Tom Tom and if so, where do they go?
TIA

Pat,
People here are a bit shy of cracked software and there's little chance someone will answer!
I don't know the answer to your q, but I do have the postcode program. PM me and I'll send it, but it's 22Mb so you'll need broadband.

Thanks, will do.
BTW - it isn't bent in any way shape or form. It cost me 300 dumps and I've just ordered TT5 upgrade using the product code. It's just a simple matter of losing it when the battery went down
