Dear all,
I have Compaq and an HP PDA 5450 and 3850, tried both, with a wired Destinator GPS hardware. As you assume everything worked fine with TT3 and it does not with TT5. settings other NE*** Baud 4800, serial on com 1, the little "wheel" in the top right is rotating, but still no GPS device detected and no statellites. Logged this 4 days ago with Tom Tom support, but no answer so far. Does anyone out there made it work ?
Any help, reply is highly welcome.
Thanks for reading this :D

you need to make sure your receiver is programmed to NMEA. If it emits SiRF then TTN5 won't see it. _________________ Lutz

I have the same problem. Any recommendations as to how to reconfigure it from SIRF to NMEA?. I have tried a couple of options on the PPC, but they don't seem to find the GPS, although Destinator finds it every time.
Tried SP GPS View and CEmonitor
Thanks

Hi,
thanks - cracked it with WinceMonitor. Just needed to set the baud rate to the same as destinator (19200) to get it to connect
Thanks
