|
|
Hi,
I'm in Germany and I'm thinking of buying the TomTom Go 700 when it becomes available here, however, I can't speak German and therefore I'm concerned the menu and instructions will be in German. Will it be possible to change the language of the menu and spoken instructions to English?
Same question applies to the Navman iCN650.
I need full euro coverage. Does anyone have an opinion on which is best out of these two, TomTom Go 700 or Navman iCN650? It seems to me the TomTom has more features but the Navman is more practical (smaller) for putting unit in trouser pocket when you reach destination. TomTom too big for this.
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks

The GO has lots of language choices. You can choose different languages for the written stuff on the screen and the verbal instructions if you want to! _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

GO is fully multi-lingual and I would certainly recommend Go over Navman - it will look really good (albeit slightly misshapen) in your trouser pocket, although shifting the unit slightly to the center might help. |

Thanks for the feedback, and Eldar, thanks for making me aware that the TomTom really is a multi-function gadget. The TomTom Go 700 it is then. Right, where's my VISA card.... |
