the maps are at a minimum two years old. Overall TeleAtlas maps are not as good as NavTEQ maps in the US, but there are areas where it is the other way round. The surveying process is not homogenous so a general statement doesn't cut it. _________________ Lutz

so would you stick with a software program that uses Navteq preferentially..I like the interface on TomTom..I think best..but OCN4/5 looks very good as well(this uses Navteq) |

Please don't mix personal taste with map accuracy (I for example like Mapopolis much more even though the NavTEQ maps in my area are even crappier than the TeleAtlas maps)
Where do you live? Any particular area you want to test? _________________ Lutz

I live in Tampa, Fl..I like the map appearence on TomTom slightly better than OCN...map screens look easier to read on TomTom
I want a nice user interface and good accurate maps
I own a Garmin 2610(bought 18mo ago) for my wife...so I use this as a comparison..map screens are good but only 2D |
