Hi All
Can you help please, i have purchased a compaq cradle off ebay and plugged my 3970 in tonight the computer beeps like a new usb device has been added but when i select active sync on the ipaq it says not connected
Do i need some sort of software, i dont have power to the cradle either, no power supply, do i need that to sync them together

Ok the PC recognised a usb device (cradle) but the ipaq wont activesync still says not connected

Have you tried reseting the PPC. Does the new cradle require drivers?
3870 (and therefore 3970) had a few problems with Acrivesync, what vers ActiveSync you using? _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

All sorted now thanks, needed to download activesync from microsoft. Sorry a newbie so was not aware
