updating maps and transonic 3002

perhaps someone could please enlighten me as navigon seem to have lost the ability to type.
I have just recently purchased a navigon|4 mobile navigator with a transonic 3002 pna I sent an email to navigon asking how you updated the maps when updates became available.
On their web site they say they use map data from navteq and from navteq's website they say that the road networks change regularly so I'm assuming that the map updates must happen reasonably regularly but according to navteq they do not support the transonic 3002 pna as yet and to get in contact with navigon which I have tried to do on 3 seperate occasions so does anybody know how I would update the maps if its even possible

Navteq update the maps on a regulary basis (check out the pocket GPS visit to Navteq for details on how often). However these updates can take much longer once the base map is used inside a product such as Navigon. As Navigon 5 is out soon, I expect that will have "newer" maps, but these could be a year old
