Hi all,
I’m undecided;
I’m looking for a new GPS. The automotive all in one type, I had narrowed it down to a Navman ICN 510, but with full Pan European maps.
I currently have a Navman setup, so my decision was made.
Then along came the Mio 269 with full Pan Maps and a 2.25G HD, all for £398.99.
Has anyone had their hands on a Mio, as the only write up’s are the dealer spec’s.
But what I have found out is not enough to make my mind up on which one.
My biggest concern being is the software on both units are as good as each other.
The cost is no problem, as I can purchase the Navman in the US $430, with the exchange rate it works out at about £240, getting the Pan maps home here in the UK, as I have not found them cheaper in the US. £240 + £149 + £60(for a SD card). Works out to be about £50 more expensive than the Mio, but I would have North American maps, which I will use frequently.
All comments appreciated.
Regards.
