|
|
Hello,
I'm runing an HP Ipaq 1940 and Navman GPS 4400.
I've looked the speed camera page here on pocketGPS and would like to add the database to my ipaq. HOW do I do this? My SmartST is V2.67, is there a free update to V3 anywhere?
Or would I be better off using Tom Tom 3?
Suggestions? I've used the forum search but couldn't find an answer.
Thanks,
Mark |

I've never heard of V2.67, I have to say! Anyway, both SmartST V3 and TT3 can use the database and as to which is better, if you ask three people then you'll get four different answers! Navman do not appear to have an upgrade policy in the same way that, say, Tomtom do, but depending on how recently you bought your current software, you might be able to persuade them to give you a discount. _________________ Tim |

Hello,
it might just be V2.6 (thought it said 2.67 probably wrong!).
So 2.6 is out of date and not updateable with camera info?
Is it older than Tom Tom 3, similar?
I tried SmartST tonight and it showed that my front room was in the adjacent street... not too impressive! It got it right 10 minutes later! 8O |

Or, if I get a 1G SD card can I install Tom Tom onto my PDA as well (HP 1940)? |
