Please can someone help me? I am running Win Mobile 2003 (2nd ed) with TT3.07 and CheckPOInt 3.2 . When I go in to Overlay settings and detection I check the detect box then set WAV files for first & last warnings and then OK the changes. The next time I go in to settings I find the boxes have reverted to being un-checked along with any overlay settings and links to WAV files. Incidentally when I loaded checkPOInt there was a warning that it was designed for an earlier version of win mobile and may not display correctly. The audible warnings do work but only on a session basis. I obviously want to set audible detection on a permanent basis. Any ideas please? thanks |

The warning you refer to is purely cosmetic and isn't the cause of your problem.
The settings for CheckPOInt go into the registry, and CheckPOInt 2.0.2 works fine on my iPAQ hx4700 (which is a WM2003SE machine).
Have you tried a soft reset, setting your overlay settings up again, then exiting CheckPOInt from its menu to make sure it's saved its settings. Which version of CheckPOInt are you trying to use?

When you set overlay settings for the hole folder "Speed Camera" you will do the settings for all categories in that folder. (btw timesaving)
When you look at that folder later the checkboxes will be unchecked... but take a look on each of the POI types. They are checked!
(You must set spoken speedwarning for each POI) _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |
