|
|
Have been running TTN3 BT quite happily on my HP4150 for quite a while now. I had to reinstall it once after the main battery ran down and all the data dumped but there were no problems with that at all.
Unfortunately I recently made the smart move of slamming the 4150 in my car door, shattering the screen.....
I am now trying to install TTN3 onto an HP2210 that I had kicking about. Everytime I try to install it reaches the "flying document" page of the installation programme and then hangs. There is no progress bar nor any other indication of activity save for the "flying document". I just can't work out what I'm doing wrong - any ideas???

Sounds like an ActiveSync issue.
If you are brave enough you can copy the CAB files directly to the 2210 and execute them there. You need
TTN3
TTGPS
one Voice CAB
I assume you still got the maps on the SD card. _________________ Lutz

Thanks, I'm happy to have a go at that but whereabouts do i put the files on the 2210? Anywhere? Do they then just just create the appropriate folders etc themselves?
Activesync seems to be working fine for other installs though... |

yes, you can place them anywhere. They create the appropriate directories, and they delete themselves after installation _________________ Lutz

Thanks! The voice files and the gps files all unpack ok but i can't find a similar TTN3 file. The setup file in the root of the disc is not ppc compatible and the only other one i can find is an .apk which seems to be non-executable. Sorry to keep asking but any more ideas? |

Run the setup file on your Computer with NO Pocket PC attached, and then when it says "will be installed when device connected" search for CAB files in your TEMP directory _________________ Lutz
