I went to NavCity, excellent service and very knowledgeable too. Would recommend them, even to a friend

Hi,
Had a problem with my TomTom GPS unit, it was a total loss and it had to be replaced, I must say that Navcity replaced the unit within 5 working days, there was no grumbles on their part and they handled the situation politely and professionally.
Their after sales is as good as their sales, I highly recommend them for your GPS needs, they are a credit to online retailers, I hope other retailers take note.

Placed an order on Jan 27th for a Brodit ProClip for my Jeep. Received an e-mail on Jan 31st to say the order was being processed. Then mailed them to ask how to add items to the order (value £181 and still haven't had a reply) at least twice. Not sure what's happening now. They don't appear to answer the telephone either. They're probably on holiday! |

I got a TT Nav BT v3 from NavCity recently.
Online price 159GBP
Shop price 179GBP
Went to the shop and they matched the online price. Very helpful and friendly service. :D |

I ordered a pro-clip for my car last thursday 17th - I got an email saying it had changed to processing from pending about 2 days later - but then heard nothing
I sent them 3 emails including one asking about another product I was interested in buying - and had no response from any
I rang them and no-one answered
Rang again at about 4pm yesterday and got an answer
A bloke explained they are not held in stock as they are car-specific and that they were waiting for it to come in from abroad and that someone would ring me back after checking
20 mins later I got a phone call back saying they'd checked and it would be in by tomorrow and with me next week
My order still hasnt changed to despatch so I'll have to wait and see - but I have just put through another order for an in-car pda mount
It does worry me the total lack of response to emails - but at least they return calls - I just hope they are honest |

Little update - my pro clip is still not sent (according to their website)
And I ordered a brodit mount aswell 2 days ago and that hasn't been sent either *sigh*
No answer to 7 seperate emails to different addresses - and i've phoned 9 times today and no-one has answered the phone at all
I'm gonna give it till monday and if order status hasnt changed and they havent been in touch im gonna go to my bank and see if I can get my money back (paid on visa credit card - so at least I should be covered through that) |

Got to say I had a similar experience. I ordered an Ipaq cradle and pro-clip a few weeks ago. After the initial email confirming the order I heard nothing for over a week. I then emailed them for an update (using the chasinsing up an order enmail address on their site) and received no reply. Just as I was thinking of contacting my credit card company my order status changed to shipping.
I did get the pro clip and mount just over 2 weeks after ordering. While I'm unhappy with the level of communication, I can't fault the pda mount. I'm very happy with it.
It seems to me that they don't actually stock any of the Brodit mounts, rather they take the order and then order it themselves from Bodit in Sweden. The clips are great, but if anyone else knows a beter place to order them (for a mate) please let me know! I couldn't see a link on the Brodit website, so they don't seem to sell direct. |

I did get through to them on friday and they said all the pro clip mounts are 10 days - I pointed out that it had been 9 days on friday and the guy just said he was expecting an order in "early next week" with my stuff on it
The email replies are none-existant, I've sent nearly 20 to various addresses and not got a reply to a single one
On thursday it will have been 2 weeks since I placed the order - I'm just hoping that I will get my stuff (like you did) as it does look quality kit
And they don't stock any brodit stuff except the fast moving "universal" stuff, which I suppose is understandable as the number of people fitting a 3630 with sat nav to a 2000 reg peugeot 106 right hand drive, must be quite slim
If anyone from navcity is reading this though - SORT YOUR EMAILS OUT - because it is sooo frustrating when you spend loads of money online and don't get any response from emails..
Oh yeah and as above if anyone knows a decent company in britain who can get brodit kit I'd be very interested too |

Another quick update - got the passive holder and its the wrong one
On their website it just says for compaq ipaq's - now i've got it, it says 38xx and 39xx and i have a 3630
So I've gotta ring them when they open and get an rma number and try and get it swapped
Still no sign of the pro-clip - will be 2 weeks tomorrow that I ordered it
*sigh* |

Dont know if anyone reads these - or even cares
But I rang today cos its been 2 weeks since I ordered my pro-clip and the guy had it on his desk, said it will be posted today and I should have it tomorrow
I must admit they are honest with you and try to help when you ring but they never EVER answer any emails
I've been waiting 2 weeks now to mount my sat nav in my car and its killing me
Hopefully the pro clip will be right and then I should get a replacement for the wrong holder they sent out next week and might actually have it all running by next weekend |

I'm sure when it eventually arrives, you'll be very happy with it. The one I got for my Mazda6 and Ipaq is great. |
