Was wondering if this is avialable... ie If I put my BT GPS Unit on a friends dashboard etc... Can the car be tracked on PC via www...
I would not of thought so... but worth a Q ;)

GPS is a one way technology. The Receiver passively receives the position data of the satellites and does not send anything back to them.,
In order to track a GPS receiver you need a return channel, for example a GPRS (or 1x) connection to the Internet, or a SMS feature. _________________ Lutz

No, it's not daft at all. Many programs are already offering that back channel (for example CoPilot Live Pocket PC 5 _________________ Lutz
