|
|
I have a strnage problem when using co pilot, if i have set a destination co pilot routes me as it should do, but if I decide to cancel the route and choose a new route co pilot keeps routing me to the previous destination. Is this a problem with co pilot or is there something I am missing, I have even switched of the phone gone back into co pilot selected the new route and then it still routes me to the previous address. Can any one help with this problem

The Pocket PC version asks you if you want to cancel the existing route. Do you get the same message on the Smartphone? _________________ Lutz

Hmm, never seen this myself. How are you cancelling the route ? Normally I'd go back into Edit Stops, DELETE ALL, then add a new stop then START NAVIGATING and this has always worked fine for me. |

I dont delete stops when going into edit stops as I thought if a stop was listed in there you could use that stop whenever you wished. I just select the stop I need within edit stops and click on start driving, is this perhaps where im going wrong

Ah yes, that's where you're going wrong. The stops are basically part of the journey. Thing of the stops screen as your journey, so if you have other stops listed there that you don't want, and you leave them there you will still be navigated to these. Hit Menu, (3-Delete All) and then add your destination in then click the Navigate option and you should be good to go. |

kam, it doesn't work the same, it's different and doesn't have the saved trip feature. You can see this on the review.
Providing you delete all stops before you create your new journey as I posted previously and then ONLY add the stops required for the SmartPhone version, it will work quite nicely. |

That's a shame. I find this feature which saves all used stops as favourites for re-use to be really useful. _________________ Kam |

I think someone's getting confused here. The edit stops screen has all the stops for the current journey. Any stops listed in that screen will form part of the current route. The favourites screen does list all the previously used stops and they can be selected to be added to the current journey; if the current journey is blank then it will the next place you are directed to; if the journey already has stops, then it will be added to it. |
