|
|
After finding that the GPS receiver runs out of battery power quite quickly if used heavily I have been looking for a car charger for the gps unit and have found this one:
http://www.pdamods.com/products.asp?cat=16
Can anyone confirm if the tomtom bluetooth gps unit can be charged whilst in use or do you have to stop using it before it can be charged?
thanks

You can use it whilst it is being charged. |

As an afterthought, is it in that case advisable just to leave the charger plugged in all the time? |

I don't know what the battery type is - I believe you can do this to Li-Ion batteries without causing problems, but other types will degrade.
I have a TT BT GPS too, and use it for about 4 hours on & 4 hours off charge. |

I do. It's been plugged in for about three months now. :D |
