What if someone has to have their iPaq replaced three times?
So, when they come to do their third install of the Tomtom software, they won't be able to do this because of the terms of use of the software?
If someone bought an iPaq (or any other PDA) and installed Tomtom.
Then had to have it replaced because it was faulty.
And then installed Tomtom again.
And then had to have it replaced because it was faulty.
Surely they will get stuck the third time?
Just wondering!

Well... firstly, I was just wondering!
But... the situation might happen to me...!
I bought an iPaq and Tomtom unit.
I had all sorts of problems.
I've had to send the Tomtom unit back for exchange/repair at Tomtom.
I've used the software to install on another iPaq I have.
Now... if I still have my origianl problems... then I might have to have the new iPaq changed, since logic says that if the Tomtom kit is fixed the fault must lie with the iPaq.
If this did happen, then I would have to do a third installtion of the Tomtom software? _________________ iPaq 3870

Both.
This used to happen too regularly.
Any suggestions to solve this?
Also the Tomtom bluetooth unit used to take a loooong time to get a proper GPS signal. Hence when I spoke to Tomtom, they told me to send the unit back to them. _________________ iPaq 3870
