What is the best (and cheapest ;) ) PDA car mount? I am not sure which ones are available, but I am thinking about going with one that hooks up to the airvent....I have an Ipaq 4155 |

Hmmm 'best and cheapest' is that an oxymoron?
Anyway are you looking for a powered or dumb mount?
I use a Brodit dumb mount for my 2210 with the compatible air vent clip and it looks great in my car - high quality not cheapo!
You can find links and reviews of Brodit mounts on this website _________________ Ipaq 2210

Nice install - please can you post the exact parts used in the whole setup - especially the dual accessory adapters and where they are connected and the flexi arm that the cradle is on - also what GPS receiver you are using and how you wired through the antenna.
I've just ordered the Arkon CM506 Multimedia W/Shield mount and TomTom3 for my IPAQ5450.

This write-up was geared more for the RSX boards I frequent, but I posted it here as well in the Emtac section.
If you'd like any additional information, etc., feel free to PM or email. |

Although a powered mount may be more of a hassle when it first arrives (wiring, etc.), it sure is nice knowing your handheld (or GPSr) isn't going to run out of juice half-way through the trip. :-) |
