Confused as anything

I just bought a XDA IIi. Its my first pda. got the wifi working and thats it. i dont know what to do with it now!!!

This is a GPS website so i'l start with that. I want sat nav on my pda, what do I look for when buying hardware / software for my XDA2? There are so many gps recievers and I dont know which one to get.

And software. I want to be able to enter postcodes and save locations because of work. Any ideas??

Finally.... I know this isnt a general help site. Does anyone know of any sites that will allow me download freeware or shareware software. I've already tried a couple sites....

I've downloaded some programs but get the error message "this application is not a valid pocket pc app...." what the hell am i doing wrong? can anyone suggest any sites to download, and install to see if it works. Do I install from the pocket pc file explorer or from activesync....

If anyone can suggest any other forums that'l help me, i'l appreciate that.
