I just bought a HP iPAQ hx2110 + CoPilot Live Pocket PC 5 Bluetooth GPS - Can anyone reasure me that I have made a good purchase?
I am a bit nervous now about the purchase and would like to hear if others have used or reviewed the product. The unit arrives tomorrow, fingers crossed I will be pleased with the buy.
Thanks in advance. |

You have bought a decent PDA and Co-pilot live has a decent reputation, I don’t use it personally so cannot comment that much. Your PDA will be able to do most things, some thing you might of wanted to use is WIFI which your PDA does not have _________________ Regards

Thanks Steven. I was aware the unit did not have Wi-Fi. Is this something I can add to my iPAQ? Can I buy a Wi-Fi card? |

Yeah you can buy a CF Wifi card later, you might not need it. _________________ Regards

I have just put this item on eBay after using it for 1 hour this afternoon. I cannot return all the packages because the CoPilot software has been opened.
The unit did not come with any car mounting kit (I was told it did when I called the supplier). The GPS unit wobbled and turned in the cheap air vent mounting that was supplied. The iPAQ would only stay bright for 30 seconds when driving then go in to very dark mode. No matter what display, battery and device settings I changed the unit kept going to sleep.
The CoPilot software is far less superior to the Navman SmartST 3.0 software.
If I am wrong I am happy to be corrected but the unit is not the one if you want a proper GPS unit (IMO).
