That should read 16000 Hz or 16 kHz.
As a summary:
Pocket PC's and Palms don't care and use bank 1
the GO needs bank 1 at 22050 Hz
mobile phones need the second bank, and need 16000Hz _________________ Lutz

Oops!
Dead right Lutz! If that was the only typo in a post that long, I'll be quite pleased - Thanks for pointing it out.

it's device independent. All you need is your current data.chk file - those are different between devices and versions _________________ Lutz

Just so you know i tried the data.chk file with V5 firmware and it doesnt work... as youd probably expect. But it was worth a try anyway. |

Of course it works. You just need to recompile it because the file size of the data.chk is different. _________________ Lutz

Lutz has managed to create a sound file for the new TomTom GO version 5 software.
You can find the amended instructions and the download link here.

i have done it, didnt realise you had to put everyting in speed zoned in there as well.
done that and run a demo past speed cams and mobiles that are 50mph, it works a treat.
A BIG thankyou to all who have devised this.
you are gods.
:D :D :D |
The GATSO and mobile camera are zoned I think. Make sure you dont put the gatso and mobile cameras on to TTG from outside the speed zoned folder or it will warn you twice for the same camera.
Hope this makes sense. |

I don’t know if this is the correct thread to ask this question on, but I apologise if its wrong.
I have a original GO upgraded to V5 soft wear, and use the Pocket GPS World safety camera database Though I have imported all the BMP files and the OV2 to my GO, I cannot get the TEMP or the SPECS to appear in my POI to be ticked so as to work. Any ideas?
PS I hate bloody computers, works of the devil.
In desperation.
