Navman 3450?

A friend of mine was trying to purchase the 3420 from a US supplier and was told the model was discontinued. The new model is a 3450. Does anyone know the difference between the two?

I've just done a search on Google for Navman 3450 and it appears in quite a few online stores, however if you goto the Navman US site they only show the 3420. I think people maybe getting confused from the fact that iPAQ's are 3850, 3950 perhaps.

I think I figured it out. I found a supplier selling the 3450. The difference is the sleeve. The 3450 sleeve has a place to plug in an external antenna (which the 3420 does not).

3450 (in addition to external antenna input) also uses SIRF Star 2e/LP chipset, which means Low Power (ie more battery time when standalone)
