Fugawi and Palm HotSync Buffer Overrun error

I've been using Fugawi UK (V3.1.0.473) for some time on a Palm T3. I had to re-install my PC (W2K Pro) when I upgraded my hard disk.

Now HotSync crashes with "Buffer overrun detected!".

I tried upgrading to V3.1.4.643, but still get the same problem. I've tried on another PC (Win XP), but still the same.

I've got the latest Palm Desktop version (V4.1.4). I might well have had a previous version before I re-installed so I'm not sure if this is what broke things. I notice that Fugawi have their own versions of condmgr.dll and hsapi.dll which are much older than those in the PalmOne folder. I don't have a copy of a previous version of Palm desktop so can't verify if this is the root of the problem.

I found on the German Fugawi site a reference to the Hotsync problem and advises to upgrade to V3.1.4.746. However, this appears to be for Fugawi 3 only and not Fugawi UK, so won't install.

Has anyone got any ideas how to resolve this ? Failing that, is anyone successfully using Fugawi UK with Palm Desktop 4.1.4 and sync'ing to a T3?

I managed to find the original Palm Desktop CD (V4.1.2) and now the Fugawi conduit doesn't explode anymore.

Looks like Fugawi (up to V3.1.4.643 anyway) isn't compatible with Palm desktop V4.1.4
