Hi all, hope some one can help me here.
I was messing around adding new POIs and for some reason the in built ones you get with TOM TOM 3 all dissapeared. I am not too worried about the POIs, but would like to have the bitmaps for hospitals, hotels etc.
Can anyone with tom tom navigator 3 ( pocket PC) email me these bitmaps. I think you go to activesync > explore > CF card > gb maps or something similar. please email to j4tta@hotmail.com.
Thanks all |

fishing a bit in the dark, ah? The standard bitmaps are packed into the POITypes.DLL and can be extracted with a resource browser tool (like Reshacker).
Only the custom bitmaps are stored in the map folder. _________________ Lutz

Since it is a DLL it is not visible in Pocket File Explorer. You need to use Resco File Explorer or the desktop ActiveSync Explorer to find and grab it.
On your desktop in the Windows File explorer you also need to disable the hiding of system files. _________________ Lutz
