I am the proud owner of an iPaq 3870 using GPSAssist. I wonder if it is possible to create a route which contain co-ordinates in the same way as I can create routes in a standalone GPS and follow that route ?
Happy for an answer if possible.
Best regards

Rolly,
this will be possible in the next release of GPSAssist. The whole PTP navigation will be revised to also allow you to enter GPS Coordinates (next to favorites and contacts).
Note that this option will only be available for TTN2.
Thanks,
Jo.

Jo,
When you mention GPS Coordinates, I presume that you're talking about Long/Lat. Would you be able to code so as to allow the use of Ordnance Survey grid references?
I don't know how difficult that would be, or whether it is possible, but it would certainly help with Treasure Hunts (creating and participating).
Thanks,

Privateer,
I'm indeed talking about lat/long coordinates but I see no reason why it would be a problem to support Ordnance Survey grid references. To be honnest I don't know about thos type of coordinates but I'm sure that there are convertion formulas available. Maybe you can help?
Cheers,
Jo.

Jo,
You should have a look at the GB OS site.
