Hi to all.
When i insert a SysOn CF Plus II GPS Card, my HX4700 gives me the message "Unbekannte Karte in...". I think, the problem is, that all com ports are used from Irda or BT.
The SysOn card runs very well with my ASUS Mypal 730 and Tomtom 3.07 with com8 under 2003 SE.
HP couldn't help me and offers a change of the Ipaq.
Is there any way to disable the use of BT on com8 ??? To disable BT and IR isn't enough. I tryed to edit the registry--> same prob. SysOn did not response to my mail :-(... And now ?? New GPS card ???? Or is there anyone who could help me???
Thx a lot for any hints.... |

Hi vpasa,
Did you solve your problem?
I'm getting the same error and have no idea what I could do.
Thanks |

Anyone get the SysOn to work with a 4700? Any idea which com port to use. I'm disappointed and frustrated, brand new ipaq, new SysOn GPS for our trip to Death Valley, and doesn't work... |

For what it is worth, I seemed to have gotten in working with the trail version of MemoryMap. I was able to select different setting with this software that worked. Seems that the problem may be with the software that comes with the SysOn Chip |

Hi
The Sysonchip CF II plus 256MB on my HX4700 works great. I Installed the software that came the CD with the device, inserted the card an "violla" it worked.
The SysOnChip software is in my mind is a bit useless I prefer to use the Leadtek Navigator software. You can get that from www.leadtek.com. My SysOnChip uses the com port 6 @ 4800bps for NMEA and 38400 for SiRF. Hope this will help you, cheers. |
