Hi.
With the forthcoming version 5 of TomTom, I need some advice.
Is it possible to install both v5 and V3 to seperate SD cards. I need to know this as I have the maps of europe for V3 and although I wish to upgrade to v3 I do not visit france often enough to justify paying for europe maps again.
I would like to be able to swap SD cards and have france v3 on one UK v4 on the other.

I don’t think different version of TTN will work with each other’s maps but I think this may be possible using Sprite Backup PE ! I stand to be corrected by the more knowledgeable here.
If you make a self restoring backup of your PPC which contains tt v3 on the SD card that contains your maps of France before you upgrade to version 5 you should then be able to able to restore and use v3 when required., you would of course need to make a backup of your ppc which contains v5 on the second SD card that cotains the v5 maps in order to change back again.
BTW I used Sprite to revert back to 3.03 after problems with 3.07

on the update from v2 to v3 you only had to pay one upgrade fee for uk and maps of WE - if you owned both.
if this is the case again then your upgrade to v5 will be all you need.
I guess when the upgrade fee's are published we'll find out - I'm in the same boat. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------
