Hey
OK... I am planning to start making some Geocahing. But I don’t know how to insert the coordinates of the cache in my GPS (Magellan Sportack Map) .
This could sound stupid, but, honestly I don’t know. If some one Knows please tell me.
By the way this is the Cache

Take the cache to where you want it to go, stand over it and press the 'mark' button, then store the waypoint. the lon/lat will be stored automatically and you can post it when you get home. I really think you should read the instruction manual before you go outside with your gps. |

Sorry but I am Portuguese and my English is not very good . Maybe my text is a little hard to understand, but I don’t want to "plant" a cache, I want to go to this one that already exists :D . But my doubt is how to insert the coordinates of this specific cache into my receiver, so I can find it .
Thanks 4 answer me |

Oh I see! make sure your gps is set to to lat/lon, then press 'mark'. you will be given the positional readout of where you are, alter that readout to match the one on the cache website, then save it. happy hunting. |

You can download a portuguese manual HERE then follow the instructions for entering a waypoint manually, or you could download GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife). This will allow you to download the .loc files from geocaching.com (or pocket queries if you're a paying member), load them into GSAK and send them direct to your GPSr. _________________ I didn't do it, it was like that when I got here HONEST |
