|

Hi,
I've just been reading through some old posts and I notice that some people recommend installing the TT3 application onto an SD card (as well as the maps). Currently I have the application on the system memory and the maps on the SD card (or at least I think that's what I've got). How do you go about installing the application itself onto SD? I don't remember seeing that as an option during the install.
I'm thinking about taking TT3 to the US with me on a flydrive holiday, would moving the app onto an SD card be safer, or would you recommend purchasing SpriteBackup instead? I'm just a bit concerned about having to do a hard reset on the Mio 168.
Thanks a lot. |

I'd invest in Sprite backup in case you lose your application (under Backup options, select Create self-restoring backup files, then it is a very simple matter to restore the system to its previous state).
If you run the application direct from the SD card, it may work satisfactorily, but with some cards it's slower and will give voice instructions rather late

A couple of users that I know have reported that it sometimes became unstable. They have since reverted to the original installation. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the info, I won't bother with it then, I'll just invest in a copy of Sprite Backup! |
