Not too sure about the question you ask mate - but I have a friend with one of the new model Scenics and he uses a Tom Tom successfully if that's any help. |

I have a Renault Espace which has the problem with the windscreen but has a portion of the screen behind the rear view mirror that is clear.
Originally I used an Ipaq and TT Bluetooth system with the cradle for the receiver fastened to the rear view mirror.
I have replaced this system with a TT GO and external ariel placed in the same spot.
However the other day I had the TT BT receiver sat in the cup holder between the front seats, directly below the sunroof and out of interest decided to see if it was receiving sats ok.
It was receiving 7 sats and on a journey between Doncaster and Derbyshire continued to receive between 5 and 8 sats the whole way.
Therefore I would suggest that the sunroofs although tinted will allow the sat signal to get through
Hope this helps
Regards
