Thank you very much I see from your list I am missing
traffic.dat tcmpathes.bfl tmccodes.pr3 poi.dat setup.dat
have you any idea how I can get these files again? I don't know how large they are so I hesitate to ask if you could send them to me?

Probably the safest way would be to re-install TTG again. You will need to re-activate the GB map after installing. The Product Key will be with the CD.
Also once you have it up and running, the best thing to do ie create a backup on your PC. Copy everything on the SD card to a folder on your PC, that way you won't have to activate again! _________________ Richard

The CD is in a paper sleeve with the Product Code on the back. Is the SD card you are using the original or have you gone for a bigger one? If it is the original did you register it on TomTom's site? If Yes and Yes then contact TomTom Support and they will verify and offer a activate code.
If it's a new SD card, and you still have the original intact, put this into the TTG - make sure it's working- and copy to PC. Put the new card back into TTG and copy from PC to SD card. _________________ Richard

I have had a good search and I cannot find any cd and I don't remember getting one. The sd card is the original and yes I registered it as they sent the carry case on to me later as it was not available at the the time of purchase, I have a pretty early one with a low serial #,
so I have emailed tomtom support and guess I will have to wait for their reply, I think I know some localy to me who bought one recently so I could see if I could use their cd I guess, any way thanks for the help.

Just a reminder - it's a good idea to make sure you have your Product Code(s) safely stored away. There's a facility to store them in the My TomTom area of TomTom's web site.
We don't know yet, but you may well need the Product Code for the forthcoming Go 5 software upgrade and/or for any future map upgrades offered.
