The rj11 is a 'standard' plug in the telecoms industry, if you cant get a plug, then you can probably get an extension lead and cobble somthing together, just use a bit of heat shrink sleeving over the top, and you'll be fine.
try looking in electronics component dealers such as maplins or farnells.....
In case youre having problems, on my tomtom reciever, with the 'pressy in' bit to the top and the wire coming towards you, the pins are from left to right:
1: red
2: brown
3: orange
4: blue _________________ TT 730 |

err try it without the blue wire?
It may be they use diffrent suppliers to make their antennas, and cosequetly they have diffrent models from diffrent makers.
The theory about chopping up an extension lead still holds good tho, its cheaper to get a lead and give it a go, before ordering a new antenna, what harm can you do? _________________ TT 730 |
