The Itinerary option looks really good.
How do you select/add waypoints for your itinerary - can these be POI?
I would like to use Autoroute to plan a route and add 'pushpins' save this data and then convert to POI and add to the TomTom go and use this data to set up my Itinerary - It this possible?
Thank for your advice |

Thanks for your reply.
I have a pre-defined route for which I want to use the TomTom Go to help navigate.
Currently I use POI's set up via Autoroute and set a route point 1 to point 2 and when I arrive at point 2 I set it to point 3 - very longwinded when you have 30 points to ensure the Tomtom takes the route I require!!
As I now have these POI’s in the Tomtom I am pleased I can use them to define my Itinerary and save it for further use.
Great addition to the Tomtom Go and hope I can soon download the V5 update!! |

Does the itinerary option work out the best route to take or do you have to put the waypoints in in order of visit? |

As I understand it, the route is not optimised and you have to input the waypoint order yourself. _________________ Richard

Shame that wasnt an option. How cool would that be to give our drivers a list of delivery site and the Go work out the quickest route to cover them all... ah well version 6 maybe... _________________ Life's a bitch... then I met Jane... |

No it's a manual configurable list allowing you to move up and down each item. |

I think the processor would need to be a hell of a lot more powerful before it could start calculating such 'what if' type scenarios |
