Best GPS software

Hi,

I just got tomtom3, but the maps are pretty out of date. Is there better GPS software I can get that still supports overlay POI's and has up to date maps with regular updates?

lee most maps are around 6-12months out date when released this applies to all the navigation compaines going off previous experiance an anouncment could be due soon as tt3 was launched around this time last year so an could be just around the corner
