I have a problem with my setup but don't know whether the problem lies with the sysonchip Gps, with Tom Tom or with my Ipaq.

Everything seems to work perfectly, it picks up a signal quickly and locks on to far more than my old wired system used to, but then after anything from a few minutes to a couple of hours the screen just gets stuck. I then have to go to the GPS screen and uncheck then recheck the box in the top left hand corner and everything is ok again......for a while. And so it goes on. I assume that it's a problem either with Tom Tom or the Ipaq as the LED on the GPS card either flashes or stays on as it should.

Whilst this might not seem to big a problem, it's not that easy to do when you're driving along.

I've already been on to Tom Tom but they don't yet support this Ipaq.

Any help would be gratefully received.

The GPS Driver is Version 3.07 but I only upgraded it on Friday hoping that it might help.......It didn't.

HP have a problem with the CF connectivity on the iPAQ hx2000 series, which seems to have been first highlighted with problems with modem cf cards. There are several threads on the HP forum web site and there is a ROM update for this iPAQ series.

Try it and see if it works as I am at this moment.

Cheers, I'll give it a whirl and see how I get on.

I've been testing this all afternoon with the ROM upgrade. So far so good, thanks for the help.
