The nearest I can find is AllGPS, although this is primarily map based software they do list the ability to produce reports from traveled tracks (Speed, average speed, distance and time) as a feature. It's shareware so take a look and see if it'll do what you want?
A more costly alternative is the VBox which has been designed primarily for this purpose. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks, I've seen the vbox solution before, looks very good, but a bit to rich for my likeing. The AllGPS software looks promising, but I was looking for something more built for the task. Prefferably something that can calculate standing 1/4's and 0-60's, without me sitting down and working it out on a bit of paper! Am amazed I have not been able to find something, as I would have thought a GPS and pocketpc were well suited to this task.
Thanks for your help and if anyone finds anything then let me know, could be an oppertunity for some programmer to make some money here.....

Hi Marcus, I too was surprised that I could find no trace of such a utility, doubtless if one does exist someone will chip in! _________________ Darren Griffin |

We thought of putting some of this stuff into TrafCam in the early days, problem is that most of the GPS receivers output every 1 or 2 seconds, so that doesn't lead to particularly accurate 0-60 timings. We didn't pursue alternative GPS receivers so with different hardware it might be possible I suppose. |

You can certainly get receivers that update more frequently, but they are expensive, and very rarely seen in consumer markets. |

The Trakm8 does this Trakm8 Car Tracking System at £399.00 but it is a hardware device not software. However if your car is stolen it will text you!
