Hi,
I don’t know. The best bet is to determine the make of your inbuilt SatNav system, and either ask the UK head office (I have to assume that you’re based in the UK) that question or a local dealer/fitter of the SatNav system.
Alternatively you could ask your local main Honda dealership for help, but as your vehicle is an import then they may either refuse to help or charge you the earth for the fix . Alternatively, if you have the vehicle serviced by an independent garage or one that specialises in Jap imports then they may be able to help you.
Final suggestion is to try the web for a UK CRV club, as their members may have already come across this problem.
Sorry I can’t be of any more help. I wish you well in your quest.

Hi,
Make sure you have the security code before trying the following.
First, try disconnecting the car battery and then re-connecting it after say 20 seconds. Power on the Sat Nav and it will hopefully have reset itself. After entering the 5 digit security number, it will then ask you what language you want to put it in!
If disconnecting the car battery does not reset the SatNav, you'll have to remove the unit, unplug all the cables at the back, reconnect, and then do the above. To remove the unit, there are 2 cross head scews below the unit (pointing upwards), remove these. Pull the facia out from the bottom slightly, and then pull the top.... it clips in at the top.
This will reveal 4 screws holding the main unit in. Remove these and the unit should slide out forwards.
Good luck!!! |
