Wish list:
1) an interface like that of Agenda Fusion (ie extremely customisable in terms of colours and screen split adjustments)
2) Id like to see POIs (other than alerts and favourites) whilst driving, something the manual says it can do, but doesnt.
3) Speed limit setting by road type (assumes streets are 20mph!!!)
ie street, b road, a road, dual carriageway and motorway.
4) Would be good if destinator console software allowed for map manipulation so you could correct errors and possibly send correction to destinator. Would be even better if you could record drive by GPS coords only to effectively map out new roads. |

Im not sure if the D3 can import POI now. but i do like to see it happen in D4. because i want a speed camera database
1. add ons POI
2. Be able to download updated maps for free. As some new roads i discovered is not in D3, and i cant do anything about it.
3. I like D4 to allow all existing Destinator user to download for free |

How about a button large enough for the driver to press safely while driving (or moving slowly in a traffic jam) which "gets me off this road" for use when stuck in a traffic jam to get you off at the next junction and recalculate a route avoiding the road you are currently on.
Great product, just started using it. I like the fact that it knows about the short cuts out the back of motorway service stations. :D |

It was 2 years since you posted so can't imagine you care anymore but heres a solution for not carrying the CDs.
If you use Nero you can create ISO images of the discs to keep as files on your PC/Lappie. Using Nero Image drive you can 'load' the CDs to the virtual DVD-Rom drive that is Image Drive' and it'll be as if you'd inserted the CD.
I'm probably gonna do that as I have a mammoth European Trip ahead and might need some extra maps that aren't on the SD card. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Just got my new Acer N35 with D3 pre-installed .
Found this forum when trying to install the speed camera database.
Anyhow just to let you all know :
Downloaded & installed latest Speedtraps Database, with voices & pics - No Problem !
Downloaded free "POI Format Conversion" program - very easily converts various POI formats - including the Holy Grail of TOM TOM POI's - to D3 format (as a .csv)
Use Destinator Console and upload my new POI as a favourite to D3 - again as easy as anything.
Been reading a lot about this on various threads and there seems to be great confusion & woe out there re POI's - yet I've had none of these issues.
Maybe some of the Wish List has come true ??????
