Best All-rounder - Holux GR-231 or Emtac trine II?

I am looking to purchase a bluetooth receiver with my Fujitsu-Siemens Loox720 PDA for In-car use and hiking (60% usage in car - 40% hiking). I have narrowed it down to either the Holux GR-231 or the Emtac trine II. I like the sound of the review of Holux with the updated Xtrac software, but could someone advise if they have experienced any lag or instability in satellite fixes when used in-car with Tom Tom 3 software as I am led to believe the Xtrac is generally slower than those without (particularly at speed) - like the Emtac receiver.
