Hello Lutz,
Thanks, works a treat.
No more Start - Settings - System - Memory - Running Programs.
For anybody that's interested in this shortcut, create a new text document on your desktop, call it Running Programs.txt then open it and add the following line;
22#ctlpnl cplmain.cpl,4,2
DO NOT do a return after the line, just save it as below.
Now save the file by using Save As, and save as Running Programs.lnk
Now Right Click the file, and select Copy.
Now Explore to your PDA via ActiveSync, My Pocket PC - then to Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder
then Paste the file to the Programs folder.
You can then close ActiveSync if you want, and on your Pocket PC go to Start - Settings - Menu Icon - then select Running Programs, it will then be available via the Start menu.
The files you created on your main pc desktop can now be deleted.

FWIW, there are some great 3rd party apps that include a task manager facility. Omega One's Battery Pack Pro is my fave and gets installed on all my PDA's, a task manager is just one of its many useful features. _________________ Darren Griffin

I use Spb Pocket Plus 2.5, as I found that Battery Pack Pro worked very badly on the VGA WM2003SE iPAQ hx4700 I'm now using. I lost interest in watching for Battery Pack Pro updates when I found that Pocket Plus had reached the point where I didn't miss any of the Battery Pack Pro features.
I own both products, and feel that Spb Pocket Plus is 'cleaner', as it doesn't turn on a whole pile of features when you install it (such as repeating alarms) without it being clear how you turn them off.
With Spb Pocket Plus, if you turn on the relevant option then, if you tap and hold on the X button, you get a drop down menu that acts as a task manager, as well as configurable "X to close, rather than minimise" functionality.
