I purchased the European maps and installed them on my IPAQ, I have since updated my pocket pc and tried to load on my European maps. I went to the registration page only to find that they had records of the program being loaded onto two pc's, I have only registered it once!!
because of this I can not get the code for my pc. I now have to purchase a new license for more than I paid for the original. Just be carefull if you change your pc that you do not fall into the same trap.
Anyone know a way round this problem? _________________ Retired and loving it! |

What do you mean by "updated my Pocket PC"? If you mean that you changed your Pocket PC for another one, that would use another activation, as you activate Pocket PCs with TomTom.
You should only need another activation (which, if you can't wait, means buying another copy) if you've changed Pocket PC yet again.
If you can describe better what Pocket PCs you've activated and when, it may be possible to give some helpful advice.

I changed my pc from an IPAQ 1940 to a IPAQ 5550. But since I have posted Tomtom have come back to me and asked for certain information so they can reactivate my program on my new pc, so all is not lost. It has just taken them a long time to respond. My apologies to Tomtom. _________________ Retired and loving it! |

If you want to reactivate a Pocket PC you've already activated, storing the Product Code in the "My Products" section of My TomTom on TomTom's web site, which is recommended, will allow you to click on the Product Code and retrieve the activation codes for the devices you've already activated.
You can also get back to those Product Codes using www.ttcode.com - enter the Product Code and you'll be given links to click on to retrieve activation codes for devices already activated.
