Holux GR211 and TT3

Just changed from my old Haicom receiver to the Holux GR211. As this receiver is not listed specifically am going to use NMEA-0182. Although baud rate default is 4800 is this the best setting - and would I be better using the Sirf settings which are also supported in TT3?

Maybe someone could give me the lowdown on these various options.

It's a SiRFstar IIe/LP unit - I suggest you configure it as "TomTom Navigator GPS" and leave the settings as the defaults.

Don't switch to SiRF binary mode - there's only a handful of reasons why you'd want to do that. 4800bps is fine.
