|
|
I am having a horrible time trying to get Co-pilot 5 to work with the Data Download wizard. I consistantly get "Access Violation at Address 00c13415. I have tried the new update for the desktop. And I have tried used their FAQ #2. which has me go to the command prompt. I have also at least 2 dozen times deleted the software from my computer and Pocket P.C. and re-installed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Ready to throw the toaster in the bathtub with this software. |

Are you trying to copy maps directly onto the Pocket PC or are you using a card reader? _________________ Lutz

I think you're downloading direct to the Pocket PC as I've had a similar access violation error trying to do this.
The download direct to Pocket PC doesn't work all that well and is pretty buggy. The best way to download is to download it to one of your hard disks. Then copy the \2577 and \CoPilot directories across to your Storage Card using a Storage Card Reader (rather than ActiveSync) and this will resolve the problem. |

Worked like a charm. I aplogize for not getting back to sooner. I was away on vacation. Curious, do you know of any patches for the Copilot 5 when it freezes. It seems like I need to do a soft reset 5x a day.
Thank you,

try using the wav speach files; my opinion is the Text to Speach causes the lock-ups |
