I would rather guess v6 ... For example the GO doesn't even have a microphone yet... _________________ Lutz

It's already out - you use it on the GO, the Palm, the smartphones, and in the "2004"/ "HP Navigation pack" versions. _________________ Lutz

We expect TomTom will release a new version of TomTom Navigator for the Pocket PC in Europe within the next few months. TomTom, these days, develop to a 'common platform'. They've announced TomTom Mobile 5 - so it's likely that their other products will move to this "version 5" software and be released some time in the Spring / early Summer.

I wonder what the improvements will be on the next version?
The question is do you wait to buy the new release or get TT3 and update when available?
I am currently arguing with the supplier who sold me Destinator 3 as it really is awful and in my opinion not fit for reliable use! Especially if you dont own a 4X4 and have a passion for green laning!!!
I will therefore be looking into Tomtom.....Any words of wisdom from existing users.....Does it also send you down every country lane and dirt track before the main A-road that runs right next to them!!??

Hi there and welcome.
What exactly do you want to enable? Or did you want to say "buy"? _________________ Lutz

Voice recognition on Pocket PCs is only in the very early stages - there is the Microsoft Voice Command program. However that doesn't provide generic voice control - it's quite limited in scope.
Lutz's comment was to point out that there already is later software than Navigator 3 in some products - but it doesn't have voice control.
