Hi,

i`m mainly looking for a good uk map and also a basic world map ie main roads, etc for when travelling? these dont have to be in the same product.

What device(s) are you going to be using your EMTAC BTGPS unit with?

I am in the U.S., so I will leave this up to the U.K. forum users.
Have a great day!

Hi PR1970
Only just seen this post so dont know if you have sorted your query out.
I`m useing the Emtac and Ipac 4150, but just with the UK maps. I have TomTom 3 which I find very good, I have also down loaded the UK Postcode Program and Checkpoint, as I did find the post code finder in TomTom a bit lacking. Now with UK Postcode all I have to do is enter the full Post code and it takes me to the street and sometimes the door.
Only time it has not found the post code is when I have been given the wrong one, but then it is just a case of reverting back to using TomToms address finder ie: Town, then street and House number where there is one.
Hope this helps. |
