Hi,
I have updated my database to the latest one on your website to try my CoPilot out for the first time, and today when I was driving past (GATSO:2513) and my CoPilot didnt warn me that it was there(It is in my database, I checked using the POI button in the new trip menu). (That camera has been there for a long time now) Is it my settings thats wrong? I have it set to notify me of POI in 1Mile and selected on route. And I have it ticked in the POI selection screen. It told me most of the mobile camera areas.
Also how do I move a town location. A nearby town called (Pentre-Cwrt, UK (SA44 5) and (Llandysul, UK) is a bit off on the map.
Thanks |

Hello Skyliner34

I think that distance is way to far ahead, in the area i live in if i did that the poi's would just not work correctly at all, there would be in the region of 40-50 poi's to pick from that distance, i would try something like 1/3 mile, say about 25-30 seconds for the first alert at maximum.
As regards the map, you cannot move an area, that is hard coded into the map data, but i do find it strange that it is not correct, missing roads perhaps, yes. |

Hi,
You can set the distances down to 0.2miles, however you may find that a bit to close for speed camera locatiosn!
I have had problems with POI alerts & Copilot 5 and have been in touch with ALK and this matter still isn't resolved. If you look through the forum you will find a number of messages re POIs. If you search against my name you should find my entries which may be of use.
Hope the above helps, let me know how you get on. |

CoPilot's reluctance to announce GATSOs is a major annoyance for many of us who spent £135 on this supposedly top of the range software. _________________ Nokia E65 & TT Nav6 |
