How do some people manage to put a post on here showing tomorrows date? At first I thought it must be someone living down under as they are well ahead of us time wise - but when I checked, it was someone local to me in the UK - how does this work? |

Hi Darren - Can't just find the post I saw earlier from someone in Doncaster - but if you look in Beginers GPS Lounge you will see a couple in there - one of them lives in Edinburgh

This was probably me.
Never noticed this before but I have checked "my profile" and noticed that it showed "GMT + 10"
I presume this was the problem so I have now changed this to "GMT"
Hope that this is now correct

I had always understood that the forum server was somewhere in Asia, and the time shown was server local time. Let's put it to the test, the time as I type this is 2348 GMT on 15th Feb

no, i don't see it. Probably because MY profile is correct ( I see your post as 5:49 pm). Go into your profile and set the time zone to GMT. _________________ Lutz

Well that shows properly for me as I have my Time Zone configured properly. FWIW our server is hosted in the UK. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had the same problem when I first registered. Time was set to GMT+10. Maybe this is a default setting. Went to profile and changed time to GMT. All times in every post changed accordingly.

Oooops - Sorry Guys, didn't mean to cause a fuss - I was just wondering how it came about - anyway I understand it now.
Cheers,
